Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about prices, delivery, quantities and wholesale accounts.
How much does landscape stone cost in Texas, and why won’t most suppliers tell you?
TradeStone Distributors publishes its prices online, so you can see what limestone blocks, Oklahoma flagstone, chop stone, thin veneer and boulders cost before you call.
Most stone yards make you request a quote just to learn a price. TradeStone lists every product with its price per ton, per block or per square foot at tradestonetx.com/products. Freight is quoted separately, based on your load and delivery location.
How do I get stone delivered to my job site?
TradeStone Distributors delivers stone by the truckload across Dallas–Fort Worth, North Texas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Oklahoma and nationwide.
Send your material list and delivery city through the quote form at tradestonetx.com/quote or call (940) 290-0280, and you’ll get one delivered price with stone and freight together. Payment is due 24 hours before loading, and you’ll need a forklift, skid steer or other equipment on site to unload.
How much flagstone, chop or limestone block do I need for my project?
TradeStone Distributors uses simple coverage rules to size your order.
A ton of 1"–1.5" Oklahoma flagstone covers about 100–120 square feet, and a ton of 2" flagstone covers about 70–90 square feet. A ton of chop stone covers about 35–45 square feet of wall face, and a 2x2x4 limestone block weighs roughly a ton. Add about 10% extra for cuts and waste, and TradeStone’s team will confirm quantities before you order.
Can contractors get wholesale pricing without a long approval process?
Yes. TradeStone Distributors gives landscapers, masons, pool builders, home builders and developers wholesale pricing as soon as they create a free account at tradestonetx.com/wholesale.
Enter your company name, contact name and phone number, confirm your email, and wholesale prices appear on every product right away. There’s no waiting for a sales rep to call back.
Where does TradeStone’s stone come from?
TradeStone Distributors sources natural stone from quarries across Texas and Oklahoma.
That includes Austin and Lueders limestone, Lometa sandstone, Oklahoma flagstone and moss boulders, plus manufactured limestone blocks from Chico and concrete blocks from San Antonio and Cresson. One order can cover blocks, flagstone, chop, veneer and boulders for the whole job.
